Knowing the limits of a training programme is as useful as knowing its contents. This page describes the topics and activities that fall outside our workshop, and explains why those boundaries exist.
We keep the scope of the workshop focused deliberately. Trying to cover everything in precision agriculture in two days would produce a shallow survey. Instead we go deep on four topics that are practically useful for small and medium Polish farms right now. Everything else we either point you toward good external resources for, or we explain why it falls outside what we teach.
We do not sell drones, sensors, GPS receivers, controllers or any other hardware. We do not have referral arrangements with any equipment supplier. During the workshop we demonstrate equipment that we own or have borrowed from independent sources. If you want to purchase similar equipment after the workshop, we can suggest categories to evaluate and questions to ask vendors, but we do not direct you to specific commercial products for any financial reason.
This is not a commercial limitation. It is a structural choice that keeps our recommendations honest.
Flying a drone commercially in Poland requires registration and in some cases a Remote Pilot Certificate under EASA Open Category regulations. We introduce the legal framework briefly so participants understand what applies to different flight scenarios. We do not run a licensing course and we do not prepare participants for certification examinations. Several approved training organisations in Poland offer that separately.
We teach technology, not agronomy. The workshop explains how to read a stress map but does not tell you whether the stress you are seeing indicates a fungal problem, a nutrient deficiency or a drainage issue in your specific soil type with your specific variety. That interpretation requires agronomic expertise that is specific to your region and your rotation. We work alongside agronomists but we do not replace them.
Precision agriculture tools can support CAP compliance documentation and some regional rural development programmes reward farms that adopt them. However, the administrative process for subsidy applications involves legal and financial questions that are outside our scope. We can explain how the data generated by the tools you learn about might be relevant to those applications, but we do not advise on funding eligibility or application strategy.
Enterprise-level farm management platforms designed for operations above 1000 hectares, satellite subscription services with continuous monitoring contracts, and industrial IoT infrastructure for large cooperative structures are outside our scope. The workshop is built for farms where the farmer or manager is directly involved in day-to-day decisions and where the cost of enterprise software would be disproportionate to the benefit.
We teach you to use existing open-source tools. We do not offer custom software development, API integration services or bespoke database design. If after the workshop you want to build something more sophisticated, we can point you toward developer communities and documentation, but that work falls outside what this training provides.
